Xmit setting concern SDR
« on: September 24, 2022, 05:19:44 PM »

I have  an IC-7300, SDR console Software, DX PATROL MK4.  All work great.  But,  Before I try to XMIT WITH It connected, just want to be sure I'm not going to toast anything.  If you can direct me to Website that addresses this, I haven't seen anything.   Thanks. ED W6AOA..

I run various sdr radios with high power transmitters and I have a relay box close to the sdr receiver that shorts the antenna to ground (and opens up the audio path) when I transmit.
A wall wart will power the relay setup.
