Software for audio signal processing
« on: September 26, 2022, 03:01:49 AM »

I am looking for recommendations for an application/s that can perform
like the old TimeWave DSP-599, ie LowPass, Hipass, Bandpass, and Notch
filtering, using live receive audio from the radio. I want to port the
transceiver's audio to the computer sound card input and listen to the
processed audio out live.

I found numerous audio editors which are software equalizers but none
that offer the ability to notch an offending carrier.

Regards

DSP filter and DSP audio filter are 2  that are similar and I use them with my 30 year old Kenwood TS690S to bring it up to a similar level on noise reduction as my newer transceivers.

I think the 2 links above will get you to the same or similar .exe file.

If you have an NVIDIA video card with CUDA cores in it, RTX Voice is amazing for pulling voice signals out of the mud.

Not much for CW, but it will dig voices out.

There is a hack to allow install on older video cards (you have to change one line in the install manifest file).  I run it on an RTX970.
