SUNSDR2 DX and 2 Pro with MacBook Pro
« on: September 29, 2022, 11:10:23 AM »

To begin, I wanted to try an SDR radio. I purchased a SUUSDR2 Pro for starters. I love this radio, it does not have the power to drive my KPA 1500 to more then 700 watts. I purchased 2 DX. I have not been able to get the DX to be recognized by the software. Expert Electronics recommended I change the IP address of the 2 Pro which I did. It still works fine, but I still cannot get the DX to be recognized. I tried deleting the 2 Pro’s software and use the DX’s with no success. The software is EESDR2. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes I am, I have been in contact with Roman. His suggestion is to Skype and use RMS where he takes over my computer to check it out. This is after he has given many suggestions to make it happen.

I'd take him up on it. I think this part of their SW is the worst, but once over that hump things are good.

Thank you Doug, it is frustrating, the SW recognizes the DX only it is not on the Port that I specified eg. 192.168.16.200 Port 50500. It says Port 50001?
They can walk me through it. The SDR2 Pro works flawlessly.
