The Yaesu FT-817 and it's successor the FT-818 together over 20 years on the market, have to account for something.

To be honest with the question of all time. Do not we have to wait till time stops to make a statement or comparision of all time...

Nothing could likely hold a candle to the venerable Heathkit HW-100/HW-101. It is estimated that 30-40,000 were sold.

I would bet there are a lot of  Baofeng uv5 series out there.  I doubt that anyone even knows how many there are.  Most hams I know have at least 1.

Over 11,000 Heathkit HW-101s were sold.  I think the IC-7300 has a long way to go...

I don't think so at all.  I would be willing to bet that Icom has sold more than three times that many, and possibly more IC-7300's world wide.
