Bluetooth for homebrew transceiver
« on: October 26, 2022, 10:19:49 PM »

Greetings all,
Could someone please refer me to a bare Bluetooth audio TXR module that could be built into a homebrew HF transceiver?
I would like to use this system in conjunction with an Aftershokz Opencomm headset with boom mike. VOX capability would be nice but separate PTT would be OK.
Thanks,
Geoff VK6YR.

From Ebay & Maybe Amazon
"Bluetooth 4.1 Stereo Audio Transmitter KCX_BT_EMITTER USB Sound Card Board"  I have used this and it works nice. Its about the size of a postage stamp. You feed it audio and 5V and   'P00F'   Bluetooth audio.

Don't you need a computer to run it?

Thanks WA1UIL, for your reply. This looks like a good solution for a one way situation. I was hoping there could be something similar with receive capability as well to utilise a headset with a boom microphone.
