Retrieving lost data HRD log
« on: October 30, 2022, 04:17:09 PM »

Recently and accidentally deleted a QSO from HRD log, is there any way to retrieve this data?
Thanks,

I think every time you exit HRD it saves a backup of your current file.  Try looking in C:\Users\(your computer name)\AppData\Roaming\HRDLLC for the last file prior to your loss of the QSO.  They are XML files.  Good luck!

If this is an FT8 QSO we're talking about, there are a couple of files on WSJT-x that will still have the information.

If you have automatic uploads from HRD Log to QRZ.com, ClubLog, etc. can get info from there.

If you're using MariaDB with HRD Log instead of the default option of Microsoft Access then there might be something in the history to help.

If you auto upload to your QRZ log book, check for the lost contact and upload to HRD log book. If you have not signed up for HRDlog.net it has a utility to restore your log book and can be set to have HRD do auto upload.
