Might anyone know of a repair shop for Grundig SW radios? My Grundig Satellit 800 will not power on via power supply or battery.

I don't know of a repair shop, but there are plenty of radio services that people review on this site. It would be a good time to look inside if you have even a simple multimeter. The fact that the radio is completely dead could indicate that the radio is not getting any power at all.
Have you ever tripped over the power cord and stressed power input jack, that is place where the power from the battery or power from the wall wart is routed either way.

The Grundig  Satellit 800, if I remember right, has some similarities in the schematics with Drake receivers like the SW8. I think any ham radio repair shop should be able to repair it if it is repairable. Look at fuses inside if there are any. Most likely there is one or two voltage regulators after the power cord/ battery compartment. I would check dc voltages there and at the output of the regulator. Also very trivially the power button could not make a good contact. Check the obvious first. Check for leakage in the electrolytics (deformation of the top of the electrolytics or leakage from the bottom) even at the audio stage (just at the output of the RCA sockets). If they leak and short, It might not allow to power it. In that case a bad fishy smell could be apparent.

Google vintage radio repair or even do it on eBay. There are guys out there that specialize it. I've looked for them before. Also, look on eBay to find sellers of Transoceanic radios and you'll find that there are sellers that offer complete repair and restoration services.

A lot of people have trouble finding repair shops.  A lot of repairman had long careers and retired.
Recently shipping costs have skyrocketed, making repair unaffordable just from the standpoint of shipping a radio back and forth.

You might ask to other hams in your local radio club to check for the fault. It's always fun to check and try to repair a radio of that allure together.
