ww2 j37 streight key a rare find

Hi  everyone,

6 or 7 years i found a rare find  an old j37 back ww2 at our locat hamfest i paid 25.00 for it still like new it hard to find at good con't as is for it agedher dad own this key at moment i saw it i said how much she said 25.00 si i paid for it and brought it home started to send the code as my call that is n4mjg. thing works great !going to use it on skcc with it ! or depend on my mood lolthis ww2 key is part of histroy reason why i pick it up for good deal price not bad

That sounds like a good find Jackie. Several years back I was sitting in front of the rig when I heard a guy calling CQ from the west coast of Africa. I'm not a dx'er but pounced on it. Most of the QSO was spent with his describing his WW II surplus J38 and how well it worked.

I'm not sure if I've seen a J37. Cool...

You don't find anyone running ww2 key very rarely
 and yes ww2 key are cool ! i'm glad i find this key and good deal since i recent had stroke 2018 i don't if i could use my left hand to do soldering or use wire striper it sucks too !

J37's are great keys, some say the leaf spring design vs tapered coil allows for finer adjustment and better feel. I own and use several .
