I have Heil Proset Plus! with HC4 and HC5 elements. The switch does not work and only HC5 element is available. Does anybody know how to disassembly the mic extension?

Dissasembling any unfamiliar equipment is a daunting prospect, but you can do it providing you track and record every step.
Assembly is merely doing the process in reverse checking off each step completed.

Close attention to detail is a must
Research as much as possible before attempting it though.

Whenever I'm confronted with a disassembly/repair question involving quality gear I like to ask the people who made it. 

I don't know how the former Heil company is now being operated but they used to be very accommodating.
