Jackie, ham radio saved my life many years ago.  I'm now almost 87.  I lost my wife about 4 years ago and the kids live away from here. Living alone is difficult. Ham radio helps make life worth living.

Just stay focused on this wonderful hobby and getting well.

Recovery from any major event is always a trial, too many give up because its not worth their effort.

After numerous heart attacks and breathing problems its difficult for me to do most things without tiring too quickly.

So ham radio is also my lifesaver ( or at least saves my sanity)
Keep going my friend and dont give up.

Once i finish re learning morse i intend to pound brass as long as i can and try to send qsl cards to as many as i can log.
