Reading the intro to LoRa https://www.wimo.com/en/industrial-sector/lora-helium-antennas I am still puzzled about the possible applications of this system in Ham Radio. Do you know any ham related accessory that use of might use this technology?

Interesting. They say you "don't have to rely on a provider" However how can such a network have internet access without one? It would be great if it were possible to set up a private internet network.

There was another Ham repeater type MW system that was rolled out a few years ago ( I forget the name) which had the potential of being a national network if there were enough participants.
