I have the same equipment.

Dump HRD as psk interactive qso is dead.  Get wsjtx and start with ft8 or for interactive qso use jscall.

Set signalink tx knob about halfway, rx knob full clockwise, and delay fully counterclockwise.

In the windows control panel for levels for the signalink tx and rx device, set both as close to 0dB as you can.

On the yaesu set dig vox to zero and dig gain to 25, and turn off all dsp for both tx and rx, and set rf/sql knob to rfgain and disable agc.  Then when operating use the rfgain knob to get the signal in wsjtx in the sweet green spot.  Also use IPO when freq is below 14mhz

In wsjtx use the fakeit feature, and for ptt use cat not vox, and use the software slider to control all power levels for tx and also for tuning if you don't have an autotuner

you wont find much PSK31 going on at all anymore with HRD. But you may want to try it out to flesh out the settings recommendations I gave as all the settings I listed will be the same.  For our gear there are 2 main things you want to make sure is the case:
1. you never get any ALC in digital mode transmit
2. your signalink's PTT always immediately comes on at the power output you want.

Those 2 are somewhat related, but you'll just have to monkey with it all.  Ive had cases where the PTT on the signalink keeps clicking on/of during a TX session and I just had to much around with the different places for tx gain settings (radio, software, etc) until I found those settings that I gave you that seemed to work.

Just remember to keep your radios power output in digital modes to < 40w

HRD is useful if you want to look at or edit your log. WSJT-X keeps a log but all you can do is export an ADIF file. So you might want HRD or some other logger anyway.

HRT Alerts is kind of useful to track new countries, states, counties, grids, etc. But it presents the info in a table that might be hard to read compared to JT-alert or GridTracker. YMMV.
