HI ALL,

just downlaoding wsjtx and now i can get everything setup acordding to  AK4YA  told me how to SETING UP LIKE HIS RADIO WE BOTH HAVE SAME RADIO 897D going be long day for me have do my walking today then i can play with FT8.

Going to be fun, i hope i can see since my right eye is blind i have have maglass to to see on my left eye. dr told nothing he can't do on the right eye and it sucks ! i hate this stroke !!

Well you managed to get the program up and running despite your limitations and  many people have  difficulty with  getting the program to talk to the radio, so congrats on that. 
 I think you will find using FT8 quite a different and interesting form of Ham Radio.

Did you get the COM button under the RADIO tab to change to GREEN from RED?  Mine is still RED but everything still seems to be working: synced frequencies with radio, transmitting/receiving, etc.  I have been known to be red/green color blind, but the green is bright yellowish on the main screen I belive it remains RED on the RADIO screen.

GOT DESK TOP GOING YESTERDAY AND DOWNLOADING THE WIN 7 ON MY DELL COMPUTER EVERYTHING IS ALL SETUP AND RUNNING ! FUN THING IS TO LEARNING AND HAVE SOME FUN !!
