I won't use anything other than Goods and Services. If they say no, I don't need it that bad.
Been burned once for a TS850SAT. I had to ship the damn thing back to the east coast to get my money back, which was a chunk of the funds I was getting returned. As far as I'm concerned, once PayPal decides in your favor, shipping and everything else should be clawed back from the original seller.
I felt kind of bad. I bought the radio from party A and didn't realize I was sending money to party B in another state. I looked up party B, and he was a cop. OK, cool.
Then I found out it was actually party A radio. Looked him up, while the radio was in transit, and he's a known scam artist. Also found out he had been burned by ANOTHER scam artist and was just trying to offload a pile of junk.
Party B lost his PayPal account over it. He refused to help me get my money back from his "friend" whom had scammed me. Oh well, shouldn't have participated in the scam. I lost a hundred bucks in that deal, due to having to pay shipping back.
The only other time I had someone try to scam me was a kid whom sold me a car stereo back in 2000 via ebay. After two weeks I still didn't have my stereo. So I found out who he was, called his mother and she whipped his a$$. She also sent me the stereo next day air.
If they say friends and family and I really want it, I'll tack the percentage on for goods and services. I'm protected.
