I can't speak for the 890, but the 7300 does make the processed panadaptor data available in the CAT stream over the USB port. I say "processed panadaptor data" because this is not a proper IQ stream that can be fed into an SDR receiver program like SDR Console - it is a representation of the data driving the visual display on the radio's internal screen. The data rate is not stunningly good, nor is the resolution, but it can be displayed on a PC screen provided you don't try to zoom in too far on it.
Win4ICOM can display it - if you have a 7300 available, you can download an evaluation copy on a one month free licence. There is at least one other program, but the name currently escapes me. When I had a 7300, I did try it for a while, but it was rather disappointing and I ended up buying an RSP1A which I used with SDR Console interfaced to Win4ICOM to provide synchronization of tuning and mode...
