However there are also "law enforcement zealots" who go too far for no good reason.
I have no idea which scenario we have here.
Exactly... These middle of the night no-knocks by local law enforcement for drugs has been going on for years, and has resulted in the killing of innocent people. I know of two cases in GA where innocent people were killed, and another where a young child was maimed because a flash-bang grenade was thrown into his crib as he slept. In all the above cases, no drugs were found.
As for the feds, they have become politicized in recent years. Remember the IRS going after political opponents? How about Lois Learner around 2010-2012. When questioned by Congress, all she could say was "I plea the 5th." When FBI agents are questioned by Congress, it's always "Ongoing investigation." (Peter Strozk with a smirk on his face) And others in upper management would only answer, "Ongoing investigation." I believe if they were asked about the crucifixion of Christ, or who shot JR, they would reply, "Ongoing investigation."
Remember when the the FBI raided Roger Stone? They made sure CNN knew about it ahead of time. I used to have the utmost of respect for the alphabet agencies, but not after what they have become in recent years. I believe most of the rank and file agents are professional and take pride in their work. It's the upper management where the problem lies. I hope the new Congress will get to the bottom of what's going on. And they uncover the corruption.
As a veteran, it's sad what has become of our once great country. I understand security. Worked in Air Force communications, had a top secret crypto clearance, and was always on SAC bases after training. So I understand why some things are kept secret.
Someone in the Caribbean likes to use words like stupid and dumb toward those who have opinions different from his. That sounds like projection to me, and his rhetoric sounds like a member of a group I can't name without being political.
I understand the security at Area 51. Wasn't long ago, there were some threatening to breach the area in large numbers. If they had proceeded with their plan, they deserved to be mowed down. Unless the guy who was raided was getting inside information from Area 51 and was selling it to our enemies, I just can't imagine a need for raiding his houses the way they did. It's like "We're the big boss man, we'll do whatever we please."
One more thing. In before the...
