Only to be met after they land by many serious armed men with seriously bad attitudes that will handcuff them, strip search them on the tarmac, and take their cameras and anything else as evidence.

I was one of those "serious armed men with seriously bad attitudes". I spent almost 2 years as the SAC of the the Nellis AFB OSI detachment.

To illustrate how serious the government is about secrets, if you disclose classified information, even if it's 50 years old, even by accident, you can still be prosecuted.

Youff said to much. You'd prefer that national security not be secure and those national security laws not be enforced.

Who determines what is National security.
If you were even remotely qualified to make those types of decisions, you'd know the protocols quite clearly.

K6LAS was on George Noory show, described how they broke his doors, took his stuff, promised to show him a warrant later, etc... I'd say bullies pretty well sums it up

There isn't enough verifiable information to say if he was violated or not.
If he set foot past the sign, then he gets what he gets. If he did that in many other countries , he wouldn't be alive to complain about his treatment. Secrecy is important in the game of war.

However there are also "law enforcement zealots" who go too far for no good reason.

I have no idea which scenario we have here.

Exactly... These middle of the night no-knocks by local law enforcement for drugs has been going on for years, and has resulted in the killing of innocent people. I know of two cases in GA where innocent people were killed, and another where a young child was maimed because a flash-bang grenade was thrown into his crib as he slept. In all the above cases, no drugs were found.

As for the feds, they have become politicized in recent years. Remember the IRS going after political opponents? How about Lois Learner around 2010-2012. When questioned by Congress, all she could say was "I plea the 5th." When FBI agents are questioned by Congress, it's always "Ongoing investigation." (Peter Strozk with a smirk on his face) And others in upper management would only answer, "Ongoing investigation." I believe if they were asked about the crucifixion of Christ, or who shot JR, they would reply, "Ongoing investigation."

Remember when the the FBI raided Roger Stone? They made sure CNN knew about it ahead of time. I used to have the utmost of respect for the alphabet agencies, but not after what they have become in recent years. I believe most of the rank and file agents are professional and take pride in their work. It's the upper management where the problem lies. I hope the new Congress will get to the bottom of what's going on. And they uncover the corruption.

As a veteran, it's sad what has become of our once great country. I understand security. Worked in Air Force communications, had a top secret crypto clearance, and was always on SAC bases after training. So I understand why some things are kept secret.

Someone in the Caribbean likes to use words like stupid and dumb toward those who have opinions different from his. That sounds like projection to me, and his rhetoric sounds like a member of a group I can't name without being political.

I understand the security at Area 51. Wasn't long ago, there were some threatening to breach the area in large numbers. If they had proceeded with their plan, they deserved to be mowed down. Unless the guy who was raided was getting inside information from Area 51 and was selling it to our enemies, I just can't imagine a need for raiding his houses the way they did. It's like "We're the big boss man, we'll do whatever we please."

One more thing. In before the...

I've been silent on this subject.  I will remain silent on this subject.  Signed some papers when I was "debriefed" and retired from the Air Force.

I was "read into" and "debriefed out of" countless SCIFs (ELINT/SIGINT) when I was active duty.  As enlisted, it was *always* a good assignment.  As an officer, when I was near the planes, it was *always* a good assignment.  Saw first hand why some stuff is classified.

Then my last assignment... far away from planes.  Saw first hand what happens to people of power when they don't have to let the public know what they're doing.  I refused to join "the good 'ole boys" club/gang.  They were worried about me talking.  I was worried about what they were going to do to me if I talked.  Question:  do the right thing?  Or lose my lifetime retirement benefits?  I did what 99.9% of all other did.  It broke me.  Maybe I've said too much already.

Today, I assume people in power with security clearances who say things like, "on going investigation", and "I don't recall" are guilty and I hold them in contempt.  They have to prove their innocence to me before I stop calling them guilty.  Things are going to have to get a lot worse before things will get better.

Most people are totally unaware of what's really going on these days.

Precisely!
Consider how the media is used as propogand machine whether intentional or not.
The public will be always be distracted from the real issues in order to prevent interference with the agenda.

It is the primary reason that i do not trust the news or very much else unless i can immediatly verify it.

That’s exactly why I don’t trust the government at all, not even a little bit. I have lost all of my trust in them.
