Being new to HF, I'm in the process of exploring digital modes.

I've installed Win4Icom Suite several months ago and installed JS8call and WSJT-X recently.  CAT control (CI-V in Icoms) is operational in each.

I have not yet attempted to integrate the two digital apps into WIN4Icom but I understand such integration is a WIN4Icom capability.

Before I begin, does anyone have any experience to share in doing this - tips/cautions, etc?  My radio is an IC-7100.  My computer is a Windows 10 desktop, dual monitors.

Well, I completed the integration of JS8Call and WSJT-X with Win4Icom Suite and my IC-7100 using com0com to create virtual COM ports.

The only thing I ran into was realizing that the created COM port pairs had to be split between what is entered in the host, which in this case was Win4Icom, and the add on app, which was either JS8Call or WSJT-X.

Everything works together now, including the ability to choose which apps open automatically when I open Win4Icom.
