Eltek Flatpack2 HE 48/3000 can bus
« on: November 27, 2022, 05:10:53 PM »

Hello I have one on the way along with a interface pcb to get my connections.
I've been googling for info on talking to the psu through the can bus to set voltage, over current trip etc.
I have a usb to serial cable from earlier projects, not sure if this will work?
I haven't found anything very straight forward I think it needs to be done in terminal mode possibly? anyway I'm wondering what experiences folks have had.
I understand I can buy a very fancy interface for far more then the cost of the Eltek, but I can't justify that and will let it go at slightly higher default voltage then I would prefer.
Any links to any relevant info would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any input. Aaron DE AA7IS

The interface is canbus not serial. You will need a canbus interface module (cheap) which you could for example drive through an Arduino.

The protocol is not publically available, but there are several internet forums (with Arduino code posted) where people have figured out how to control the output voltage and some other functions.
