Glenn, does this apply to all, or some Alpha 99 amps manufactured in Colorado?  As I recall, the 99 was in production until superseded by the RF Concepts/Alpha 8100.

I'm pretty sure all the 99 amps had the metal oxide (flameproof) resistors when originally built.

Yes, the 8100 replaced the 99, same power supply boards as the later 99 amps (with relays for AC tap selection) but the 8100 has a PIC on the Control Board instead of all analog circuits that the 91B, 99 and 89 use.
