It would be real interesting know who designed the 300 amp power supply,  or any of the other hi power amps?
Funny though, transistors are not warranted.  I guess at one time some tech made some schematics

Still mudduck stuff, only Mr. BBI has (or had) the real amps that walk. Don't know if he's still in production, he got this letter from Laura at the FCC in 2017. FCC Notice Of course any amp for CB radio is illegal, it's just he had the biggest and best. And he did some really neat work. The 32 & 48 pill amps used 2SC2879A red dots that run between $100-$150 each. Key up to high SWR, and you can blow some big bucks faster than playing the games at Vegas. Those transistors are harder to find these days, except maybe out of China where they may be fake.

So - "What is a ... 'Pill' "?
3.  (CB use)  A metric of social status based purely on the counting the number of power transistors in an illegal CB amplifier.  The amplifier and devices need not be particularly useful or even functional.  Extra points are often awarded for gold plating and extra alternators.  Laws of pecking order rather than physics generally apply. (see "Boom Car")

K6BRN, that's a good one :-)

Now I'm educated !
