Having been a past QSL manager for K2L, South Carolina for a few years, the problem I see with having the representative for any one special event manage the call is that they are regularly re-assigned for other event uses. This resulted in my receiving QSL requests for other events that I obviously could not fulfill. I could then wait to accumulate a number of requests and forward them, at my expense, to the current QSL manage OR just send the card back, in their SASE (if no SASE that did not happen) with a note explaining the situation. Neither one is a very satisfactory outcome.
