I think most of us here in the Pacific Northwest are in the 6M "Black Hole" unless you are running moon bounce. I'll be putting up a new 6M beam next summer so I'm hoping that will improve my chances a bit.

Glad to hear you're having a good summer Es season. Up here in G it's winter but we've had an amazing autumn/fall on 6m, something I wasn't expecting: it's outside our Es season but the F2/TEP to Africa returned in October and I worked ST2NH, EL2BG, TY0RU, 5V7RU, TT8SN, TZ4AM, V51WW. And on 16th Dec we had a USA opening to the East Coast. It's been a long time since I've seen openings like this, over 20 years.

Keep an eye on the band as we get into Feb/March, there's a small chance you'll get some prop to Eu. We'll all be looking your way, the best I've seen so far was 3B8FA on 18th Oct, would have been a new one but not worked.

John K7KB - have faith, I've worked DN18 from G in summer and we often get short West Coast openings around 1600z during June and July, they can be very very short so you need to pounce. Last summer some Gs worked AK and HI via one of these openings.
