Sorry to hear this.  Arnie was about the only reasons why i ever listened to Radio Havana.

(I had never seen that picture of him with his gear - nice!)  SB series Heathkit with HP23 power supply ... both with the covers off.  Typical ham who was NOT a typical ham!!!  :)  God rest him.

He's in the log on several bands and modes. Always struck me as someone who put science, technology and the love of radio far ahead of politics.

Worked him on CW a long time ago and I new who I was talking to, having listened to him on DXers Unlimited for years. politics aside, he will be missed for his enthusiasm for promoting Amateur Radio and SWLing. Rest in Peace Arnie.
