I have a Hardrock 50 amplifier.  Never heard of a version 2.
Here's a link to their website.

From the description, the amp sounds like a generic Chinese amp. I have a Hardrock 50, it has an LCD screen and push buttons, nothing like the OPs amp.

I've recently seen one ad on QRZ referring to that version:

Maybe contact the seller and see if they can provide some info on it.

This advert has an image and mentions Hardrock 50 ver 2. The box in the photo doesn’t have that printed on it.

The one in this link is not a Hardrock 50.

Hi Bruce,

The PTT/COR (carrier operated relay) switch triggers the amp either by the PTT line on the back, or by detecting RF on the input.

The 817/manual switch would select the low pass filter either by the 817 band select cable going to a Yaesu FT-817, or by the knob on the front.

The rev/fwd toggle would select the row of LED's to show either the forward relative power output, or the reverse power which should not light up many unless the SWR is bad.

Some of these amps can be easily burned out if more than the rated input is fed to them, so I would keep that to 2W or under.

A look under the cover may give more info via printing on the PCB's.  It would be good to see what the finals are too.
