I like a single lever with large finger pieces, such as a Vibroplex single lever.

I have a Kent single lever which I converted to Vibroplex style fingerpieces to gain width similar to a bug or VibroKeyer.  I also raised it above the desk slightly more by installing taller feet.  Much more comfortable for me.  I really don't care for a single slim fingerpiece.  I have a Begali (not Bengali, BTW) HST 3 with a single slim aluminum fingerpiece that I find is its most objectionable feature.  Granted, this is only personal preference.  One other ill-conceived feature of the HST is the top mounted plug which requires a 90° adapter in order to make the cord lay flat.  That is not subjective.  A real Homer design, d'oh.

I also own an N3ZN like the one pictured by K3TN.  Its fat fingerpiece is less objectionable than the skinny ones on the Kent or Begali.

Seems to be some confusion. There are dual and single finger piece single lever paddles.
I have a N3ZN-SL which came with 2 finger pieces. I wasn't comfortable with the spacing and tried increasing and decreasing the spacing. Ultimately, I removed one of the finger pieces and that's the way I operate today. It is a matter of personal preference. The Begali Sculpture Mono and HST models only come with a single finger piece. The N3ZN-SL can be ordered with one or two finger pieces. The UR5CDX 755 with a single finger piece.
I own 3 single lever paddles and the N3ZN-SL is my goto key.

I use both...  Mostly single lever paddles (Kent and N3ZN) at my home station, but an old Bencher Dual at my cabin in the woods.  The original plastic finger pieces have been swapped for rosewood...  Nice touch at the cabin. Had it for years!  Yes, I have good days and bad days on both types...
