Yeah right. The headline is that a "Huge Piece Of Sun Breaks Off". Not "A Tiny Speck Of Sun Breaks Off". If that landed here, none of us will be left to complain.

I don't think most of them grasp the concept that this thing is probably the size of several Earths.  If it was to leave the gravity well of the Sun and head towards Earth, the whole planet would look like a toasted marshmallow.

Sure, we do, we just don't care or waste precious time worrying about things we have no control over. No more bills to pay or worry about. Good thing is it would bring an end to all the religious nonsense written by uneducated goat herders from 2000 years ago.
