Digitrex MPX-Mini manual?
« on: February 11, 2023, 04:21:38 PM »

Just picked up a Digitrex MPX-Mini 40m qrp rig at a swap. Did not come with a manual. Anyone have one they could make a copy for me or know where to find a digital copy?

Thanks!

Hi,

I had two of those (both quite different from one another) and never found a manual.

Both of mine worked , which was a testament to their original build quality. Pretty sure both of mine were sold here or on QRZ as I've stopped selling on Ebay.

Anything you can tell me about the rig? I am guessing it is just one band? Any idea on the mic wiring? Mine seems to be working. Haven't made a contact yet but just got it today.

It seems like the rcv/xmt switch has to be in xmt to send CW. Is that what you remember? Only paid $30 for the rig. Cheap entertainment,

I don't recall needing to switch from T/R manually in CW. I seem to recall that there's a lack of labeling on the front panel though. Output was about a watt. They did seem to be monoband and tuning was very fussy.  One of mine had a front facing display and the other was oddly angled up on the front/top of the cabinet.  They both had small LED as seen in very early calculators.

I know one of mine was for 20M. Receiver sounded pretty decent.

Perhaps a post to QRP-L might scare up some info?

Here is a picture of the rig. I really like the old school digital display. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YpmdrqyxetLNy1phsrzqy6eAgcjD9dh7/view?usp=sharing
