Antenna tuner control cable jack on Icom IC-7100
« on: February 16, 2023, 10:00:18 AM »

Help!  It's probably me overlooking the obvious.  I have a tuner control cable plugged into my Icom IC-7100 that I can get "un plugged".  Any ideas?  What am I missing? :o

If you mean the four conductor cable on the upper right rear of the radio, there's probably a latch that has to be disengaged before the plug can be pulled out of the jack. It's probably (I don't own the radio and I'm working off on-line images) similar to the latch on the radio power cable.

The tuner connector on Icoms is a Molex connector.  Look closely and you'll see a little plastic latch on the top that has to be depressed to allow the connectors to separate.
