Icom id-880 bank scan help
« on: February 26, 2023, 05:29:21 AM »

So, I am trying to find a way to scan only 1 or 2 banks at a time. For instance I have a Bank of local repeaters, another one of fire channels. another one of all the repeaters in my state.(NH not as big as it sounds). I can scan everything but  when I am supposed to pick banks on the scan menu I only have the choice ALL BAND MODE DUP TONE. I know I am missing something obvious. Any Ideas?

i'll take a stab at this
you will have to assign the channel to the bank.
ch1 ch2 ch8 to bank 2

a channel can be assigned to multiple banks
Ch1 ch2 ch15 ch20 to bank 4
ch2 ch20 ch89 to bank 10

do a internet search for icom id-880 manual and program

I do have frequencies etc assigned to the Banks per the manual using The icom software. But the manual ssays I should be able to choose bank scan. But it doesn't appear to be a choice under the scan menu. Good news is the id4100 that replaced it does this easily. Thanks for the try though.
