Hi all I just received in a TS-850SAT and find the tuner is dead, does nothing when correct buttons engaged. I have another tuner from another TS-850 and put that in the radio and it works perfectly so the one that came in the radio is dead. Anyone ever have experience with a dead TS-850S tuner?

Well, does it have it's own regulator anywhere on the assembly? I'd start there to check for the correct output voltage since it does nothing.
Bad series DC choke would shut it down too.
