Today was the very definition of (mostly) one-way prop. I heard everything well (better than -10 and some better than +00) but only worked a couple, and even those all but one I didn't get a 73. A lot of guys in the northeast were giving signal reports at least 10-15dB better than they were getting.

Yep I was finding the same. I heard a bit more than would come back to me (and some were very strong, better than +00 as well). Nice to see some activity on 6 this early.

Worked Ecuador and Colombia today for 2 new grids.  Colombia was booming in here.  Also worked Brazil, and copied LU and VP8 but no QSOs there.

It is great to have F2 on 6 meters again!  Thank you Cycle 25!

So we must have had some F2 along with TEP openings? When I looked at PSK Reporter yesterday, my signals in South America were only on the southern end. I was heard by LU1ZV (Antarctica) but no QSO before he went away. Checked back this morning, and my signals also covered the northern portion of SA, as far west as AZ, and as far north as MI.

Of the grids I worked yesterday, heck for this year, I'm the happiest about one in Kentucky. Got KG4LKY (EM87) yesterday, the last of the EMs I need. I've been after that one for the longest, he must be the  only one in EM87 on 6M. Couldn't stand seeing that one red grid among all the green on my grid map.

HC was the strongest I saw yesterday. Can anyone beat this one?

It certainly is: 6m has been open on the southerly path down into Africa from the UK and EI every day in March so far. And we had an east-west opening last Friday with the first F2 DX from Asia for over 21 years, XV1X in Vietnam. Last time I saw anything over that way outside of the multi-hop Es season was Feb 2002.

Given the forecasts for a series of poor solar cycles, it's great to see this one exceeding expectations. And still some way to go.

I read this and whipped out my 'watch for' sheet, but already have his call listed there. Checked my FT8 screen and there he was calling CQ! I about had a cow...until I realized it was 10m.  ;D

Sometimes a coincidence is just God having a laugh at our expense...  ;)

I'm in FN20 (a.k.a. where RF goes to die), and EM is always a chip shot for me...except for EM43. It took me over 13 years to change that last one from red to green.

Sunday was very frustrating; I missed more than I worked, and had 3 half-QSOs (no 73 message received), including VP8NO. But I did manage three HCs and an LU, the latter for a new grid square. Only the LU confirmed via LoTW.

Night gathers and now my watch begins. It shall not end until I reach Top of the Honor Roll

Great times are at hand, and soon there will be DX for all—although more for some than for others.
