I agree if the POTA station came on top of an on going qso.  What were/are the circumstances that cause you to feel this way about POTA operations?  I always find lots of open frequency on most bands I operate.  How hard would it be for you to move up or down?

Honestly, if a hobby pissed me off as much as it obviously does you, I would sell out and take up a different hobby. Getting on here and bitching is like a kid pounding the floor screaming. When dealing with people expect the good and bad, really bad at times....L I F E love or leave it. ;)

Sounds like "Get Off My Lawn".  Or better yet, "Old Man Yells at Cloud".  I share concerns about rude operators, but low power POTA activations with small antennas can't be causing that much interference.  Maybe updating from a Swan-350 with a 3khz wide SSB filter might help things a bit...

It would help your case if you would just communicate a little better. Use "capital" letters when necessary, use a spell checker with good grammer.

I know I am not the best when it comes to proper grammar, or they sound too much like a LEO statement, but at least I try...You seem just to have given up, for which there is no excuse.

I agree that what the POTA Op did was wrong. They should have followed normal operating procedure and ask if the freq was in use at least twice. At that time you should have told him he was  interfering with your QSO 2kHz up/down. If he was considerate he would have moved, if he was not, then you have a valid complaint.

Amateur radio is made up of all types of people, both good and bad...Which one are you?

BTW just because you were a Ham before Hiram Maxim was born means nothing.

Awwwww, be nice to him fellers.  Don't you know he has, "rites."  Not sure exactly which rites he participates in, but o.k.

Or maybe sell some excess ham gear and buy a good English textbook?
