Hello,
I've posted the below to the wsjt-x forum and attempted fixes, as directed by the several replies, but nothing helped my problem.
So I thought I would try here.

I want to run that sample wav file in hopes it would tell me how to handle the QSO sequence, specifically the "automated QSO" as I just don't understand it.
I've read the directions but hoped the wav would show it in action.

My post to wsjt-x forum....
"I've loaded the test-file 210703_133430 for FT8 per the UserGuide's step 6.3.
I did double-click on the file-name and MediaPlayer did run.
But my screen is empty; not at all like the directions.
The "Wide Graph" also does not look ilke the UserGuide example.
Is there something else I was to do, albeit not mentioned in the UserGuide?
Or what have I done wrong?

For what it may be worth, I had seen decoding taking place.
Then, per the UserGuide, I did stop that, erased the screen and tried the "wave file".
I've done several attempts over two days with the same results

TIA for any assistance."

Try File , Open, ( or CTRL-O )   navigate to the samples folder and then double-click on the file.
You should see signals being decoded

Not sure why the instructions talk about opening the Log directory - although it may be helpful for finding out when the samples folder is hiding

OK. that worked sort of, so thank-you.
At least, this time I had something other than a blank (all black) wide-graph.
So that's a positive.
I do not see the green marker on the wide-graph but that's ok.
Now to post my next FT8 problem.
