OK... here's a new twist on beating that dreaded HOA and CC&R gestapo! How about a homebrew vertical that doubles as a sprinkler and can be put out in the yard and taken in whenever the airwaves need "watering"? It's basically a garden hose running to a base which supports a vertical rod. The vertical consists of a hollow metal tube with holes in it at various points, which squirt out water in diferent directions along its length. The "base" of the sprinkler is a round sort of thingy (sort of like a Christmas tree base) with a bunch of metal rods coming out a various points and lengths (radials) to support the vertical part of the "sprinkler". What's funny is that it makes a pretty darn good sprinkler to boot!
