Again,, can I put an icon on the aprs map from the web
since I don't have the equipment yet to do it?
or do I have to have all the complicated bells and whistles that hook up to the radio.
I would imagine there would be an advantage to this
especially in cases where I might be far removed from
an aprs repeater (on a cruise ship?) also is it simplex I am hearing,,,, why don't I hear anything 600khz up? I know dumb question.
So,,,again,,how do I post a little icon on the map with
all the other cute icons from the internet? what is
the url?
All I want to do is cut & paste a little coathanger
for my club.

I am thinking of having local atv (digital/analog)nets
instead of cw.
It seems many hams are vehimeintly apposed to cw!
get out your camcorder, digital video, etc. see who
is local by looking for the little coathanger,, and
make friends.
