emergency communications vehicles
« on: March 31, 2005, 05:13:40 PM »

I have a question and hope I am directing this to the right forum.
does your group have an emergency communications vehicle?
What arrangement did your club make with your local OES for the operation of your vehicle ?
Is your vehicle licensed or insured by the county or agency that you support?

We belong to Tuolumne County OES as members of ARES/RACES and are called upon almost yearly by either County OES or CDF/VIP
Our vehicle ( a converted ambulance donated by Tuolumne county 2 years ago ) is housed at the CDF station.

We are attempting to work up an agreement with our local OES and any information  will assist us in our presentantion to the Board of supervisors.

Thank You for your assistance
