AES lists the following in their summer catalog:
Regulated supplies:
RS-12A - $79.88
RS-35 [25 amps rated continuous] - $149.99
Switching supplies:
SS-25 [20 contin, 25 ics] $119.99
SS-30 - $129.99
Their phone number is 800-558-0411. I do not work for them but have bought from them in the past. They have been OK in my limited experience.
Due to ripple in the DC output, you cannot use the switching supplies as a battery standby charger, but the RS supplies can be readily connected in this application to good effect. An RS-12 connected with a 55 amp hour deep cycle battery to the radio you descirbe will give you transmit amps for the marine radio and automatic backup power. If you later add a 100 watt HF rig, the battery can supply the additional amps needed during SSB voice peaks. The power supply will provide receive current demands and low power transmitter demands without draining the battery at all.
I do this at my shack with an RS-7 supply connected to two batteries and run 3 radios on receive w/out tapping the battery capacity at all. The power supply puts a few mills into the batteries 24 hours a day even with the radios switched off, keeping them topped off. I can use the VHF/UHF all day and if I need to do extensive HF work, the battery takes up the slack. Durned handy and more economical than leaving my RS-50 on 24/7 [the RS-7 draws 5 watts on standby, the RS-50 draws 30 watts!] to float the battery bank.
