I think I just stole a very high end DF system for $1000 plus shipping thanks to America's garage sale: E-Bay! I'm trying to find more information about the system but so far my web searches have come up with almost nothing. Only thing I could find was it was developed in 1997 by Communications Test Instruments for cell phone companys to radio locate rouge cell phones with cloned/hacked handsets. From the hardware pictures, the system comes in three racks and includes the following hardware:
The main Frame Locator XP-PLUS Contains the following:

Motorola Rnet 9600
ICOM CT-17

I've looked up most of the main components and other then the Icom recievers and the Moterola modem, most of the actual CTI equipment appears to be custom. So, if anyone has more information about this paticular system, I could use some help! My e-mail is kc8hnz at hotmail dot com. Thanks!
