How do I make audio from my sound card, key my TS-
« on: March 14, 2001, 12:31:37 PM »

I have a Kenwood TS-570S. I am trying to make the Digital Voice Keyer in my logging program key the radio. I think I can run the audio to ACC2, pins 11 &12, but I'm not sure how to get the audio to turn on the transmitter. Someone suggested an opto coupler, but I need to know what to do with it. Any help appreciated.

www.packetradio.com

Has info you are looking for
including build it yourself
schematic and parts list
or you can buy the kit from
the ham that runs the above site.

I use the RCA jack for the phone patch on my TS-820 and the FT-920 for injecting digital audio. Then use the VOX for transmitting.
