In the UK, budding Radio Hams have to sit an exam for the Gity & Guilds: Radio Amateurs' Examination Certificate in order to get their license.
Are there any other administrations which will accept the C&G Certificate as a qualification, and issue a local license and callsign?
Is is usual for a government to issue a callsign to non-residents?
Currently, the only other country I know of is Hong Kong.
