I see my quote has become active again. I must add that earlier this year the area/division concept of operations AFMARS has been using for some time has been cancelled and the region concept is now used again. Thus many of the websites in past use are now closed and not many new ones to take their place as of yet.

I'm an AF vet and recently got my ham license. I'm interested in AFMARS in the Texas, Fort Worth area. Are you still doing AFMARS? How easy is it to get in? I'm filling out an application now to send in.

Thanks.

Should not be too difficult to join. Are you in contact with the state director or other members in your state?

Hi, all!

We are working towards ONE MARS - DoD MARS, but the AF and Army MARS still exist.

I recommend you read the above, and then canvas your local Ham Clubs to see who is a MARS member.  S/he can point you to the State Director.
