PROGRAMMING CABLE YAESU
« on: December 28, 2000, 11:24:33 AM »

I HAVE A FEW YAESU VERTEX VX-200 VHF HANDHELD RADIOS.
I WOULD LIKE TO PROGRAM THEM. I  ALREADY HAVE THE SOFTWARE FOR IT I JUST NEED A CABLE. DOES ANYONE HAVE A SCHEMATIC OF IT?  FOR ANYONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE THE SOFTWARE I WOULD TRADE IT FOR A SCHEMATIC

I have a schematic that works for the Icom, Yaesu, and Kenwood Amatuer Radio units. You just substitute the plug connections on the radio end for your own. This is a CI-V level converter, which you can build with parts from Radio Shack for about $10.
