Military Trailer?
« on: February 26, 2001, 12:05:11 AM »

Does anyone know what club has a Military Comms. Trailer (I think it was a M390)that they use for field day? I had the web site in my bookmarks but I lost my bookmarks.

Thanks

Possibly Hoodview ARC, Gresham, Oregon. I know they have a military comm trailer and it has been out for field day. Their URL is www.wb7qiw.org. Good luck, I hope that is what you needed. 73 eric  kk7ue

The shelter used in these photos is either an AN/GRC-122 or 142 Radioteletype shelter.  Those types of shelters can usually be found for very reasonable prices from military Defense Reutilization and Marketing Offices around the country.  Do a web search for DRMO; they have web-based pages that show listings of currently available military excess and how to go about purchasing excess property.
