I am interested in home brew QRP equipment and would like information on where to get RF parts like double balanced mixers such as the TUF-1 or SBL-1. I have the mini circuits catalog, but they have a minimun order of $100.00.  These mixers list for $4.75 so I sure don't need $100.00 worth of them.  Any help?

Hello

I contacted Mini-Circuits last week, they replied pretty quickly and in their offer their said that minimum amount is $50, so it is half less.

Concord Components lists the SBL-1 in their latest catalog,
and Dan's Small Parts has them also.  You can also call the
local MiniCircuits distributors - they will often handle smaller
orders than the factory will.

Here is some further info:
   Concord Components   (800) 871-1749
Their latest catalog lists the SBL-1 and RMS-1 (surface mount)
        mixers for $4.25 (or 10+ for $3.75).

   Johnson Shop Products   (408) 257-8614  or fax: (408) 253-6288
        P.O. Box 2843, Cupertino, CA 95015   email: johnsonshp@aol.com
This is one of my favorite parts sources.  They don't have any
mixers listed in the current catalog, but I have gotten some
TFM-series units from them before.  They also carry a lot
of toriods, coils, IC's, hardware, Litz wire, etc.  All depends
what they have gotten in as surplus recently.  And the good
        news:  no minimum order!

Hope this helps.
