You might check out PCsat just launched a week or so ago, they are in the test mode right now.  They may be testing with mobiles, see: http://web.usna.navy.mil/~bruninga/pcsat.html
Other wise: www.amsat.org has lots of infomation on satellite operations.

Have fun!

I work UO-14 quite often while mobile with a Yaesu FT-8100R.  It's a lot harder doing it mobile but it's still fun.

I talk to many many mobile Sat operators....and many many with just HT's!!!  Yes it is possible.  In fact many go mobile or portable to grid squares they need so many can work them!

I routinely work UO-14 from my car while moving, using a very simple station.  For tracking them I use PocketSat on my Handspring Visor Neo(Palm).  It has an alarm that beeps 10 or 15 mins prior to each "good" pass.  The station consists of a Yaesu FT-90, connected to a Comet 13 inch cell-look-a-like antenna on the trunk.  Works like a charm every time.  The key is, really, to get the worst antenna possible, no gain at all is best, and dual bands.  Makes for a nice, round, signal pattern.  I know some will differ in opinion, but I have used this for almost 2 years now, and it sure beats whats on AM and FM!

Cheers, and good luck.
