I think the quality of articles has declined over the past six months or so. In fact, I'd be embarrassed to see an article I wrote displayed with some of the pieces that are currently accepted for publication and displayed as "articles."
It appears there are virtually no standards for publication. Have the editors ever considered paying for articles upon acceptance? Perhaps even a token payment (a free year's subscription, perhaps) would help raise the level of articles submitted.
