List forums by state?

There are a few other forums i go to , and they have a forum list by state. Just wonder if that could be done here?

Can you give me an example or explain it a bit more to me I am not sure I understand what you are saying.

Are you talking about a sort of US states?

Like www.radioreference.com has.. A forum for each state in the u.s. That way people can post with other people in there own state. I was just curious if that would work here..

I think most hams are more "topic" oriented rather than "regional". I remember qsl.net (I think) had state-specific mail lists but they seemed rather dead.
