Is there a reason that the articles are not listed chronologically?

That is a good question.
I have never noticed them being in a different order on the 'current articles' page from the front page. I will make a note to see why that is the case.

From the looks of things, it seems that the articles with the most hits are the ones that are closer to the top of the list.  Anyway, if you want to look at a certain article, just remember its title and use the search bar.  It will save you the time of looking through the pages.  --And no, I'm not on the staff here--that is just the way it seems to be.
