Database error while posting
« on: August 29, 2009, 08:11:19 AM »

When clicking the post button I am getting a database error and yet the post gets made. Many, including myself, did not realize the post was made so clicked post several times, each time getting the database error, before giving up.

The problem seems to be with the server and the internet connections.  I've noticed the same thing.  That's why, sometimes, that there is two or three posts--all the same--in a row.

We have a long standing issue with this happening, and have tried several things to clear it up and it seemed to have gotten a lot better...

However, quite recently, a new bug crept in (a week or so ago) and has just been fixed (past few days) so the problem should go back into the periphery.  ;-)

It's gotten worse the last day or so - it happens on just
about every post, and others appear to be having the same
problem judging from the number of duplicate posts and
messages.

Here is the message that I see:

Database error: Invalid SQL: INSERT INTO topics SET ID_BOARD=31, ID_MEMBER_STARTED=6796, ID_MEMBER_UPDATED=6796, approved=1
MySQL Error: 1054 (Unknown column 'approved' in 'field list')
Session halted.

Me too, same error.

Could one of the admins delete two of the three posts I just made in 'Homebrew'?
