Ettus Research USRP (SDR) and GNU Radio
« on: June 05, 2006, 04:47:23 PM »

Has anyone used USRP (Universal Software Radio Peripheral) boards from Ettus Research or is anyone using source code from the open source GNU Radio project?

The GNU Radio project is creating the application code for the Ettus USRP.

Here is a link to the Ettus site.

Looks interesting.

Thanks,

I saw that yesterday.  At $550 for the board even with a $25 discount for AMSAT, etc., it's simply too much money for experimentation, at least for my pocket.  Then, there are the additional costs of the daughter boards.

Give me the softrock series cards and watch me have fun.
